More than 30 years in the making, Evans Vettori Architects. helped realise the client vision of Square Chapel as a thriving arts centre in Halifax, UK. The striking screen printed facade casts shadow onto the interior space in respect of the tree form structure of the building. The ceiling, with its coloured panels, mimics seasonal colours depending on which side of the building it is viewed from. The extension brings together the existing historic urban fabric, provides a new public space, and a multi use performance space.
